comfortable rooms and balconies, great to have the 2nd bathroom and the separate areas for the 2 bed rooms
despite the price, there was little included that I would normally expect if we had stayed more than 1 night- so it was a surprise. eg toliet paper, shampoo ,dishwashing liquid was at an extra cost after starter pack finished. This was not evident on the booking site. Rooms looked into other rooms, and the balcony smokers in the next unit impaired our air quality. There was little opportunity to use the lake views and landscaped grounds that the website boasted

The location was particularly good and beautiful, right by to Hastings St, Tin Can Bay and Rainbow Beach, Montville and the beautiful hinterland, Caloundra air museum, Noosa botanical gardens and many trips to sit at Noosa spit and Thomas St restaurants, and had pleasant views. The room was beautifully maintained, our beds were comfy. The breakfast had lots of selection, the food was excellent.

I loved the pool area, and the constant movie selections on T.V!!!
I didn't like how small the room was and there was not much to do or eat within walking distance from the hotel.

Australis is just great, the staff are excellent from front desk to the wonderful cleaning staff, the grounds are beautifully kept, everything is so very clean and comfortable, fellow guests have always been very friendly. Nothing is too much to ask, there is always someone there who can assist you. The lakeside rooms are excellent, so quiet and it is beautiful to wake up to the sunshine over the lake, the ducks will walk up to say good morning, and looking at the sunset is just so calming, I could almost become a permanent resident! Being able to walk over to the wharf which provides everything is probably one of the best things, everything is there, all you have to do is cross the road, no need for a car - it's just so convenient and all the restaurants, hairdresser etc are great people - I had my hair done there last Saturday and my son's wedding was at Trio's on the wharf - what more could anyone want? - Australis for us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Location can't be beaten! 🌟 This place is right in the heart of everything, super close to Goat Island. On top of that, you have an awesome restaurant, a market, and a bakery all just a stone's throw away. It was such a pleasant holiday stay here.

We upgraded from the small, one-room studios down the bottom, to the top level of the town-house accommodation. We heard being downstairs made it almost impossible to sleep. We also heard/read that the town houses were all individually owned and furnished. So we were a bit nervous after reading conflicting testimonials. I must add, we stayed around near the river, rather than near the 3 pools. We had a one bedroom apartment - and we really enjoyed our stay!! It was clean and tidy. The furniture was ok, and we slept really well. So I would recommend paying extra and staying upstairs!! Overall, a great stay, with lovely pools...
We liked it a lot.. But be aware - you need a car to get anywhere!!!

Thanks for the really really nice stay for our short visit. They offer reasonably large, recently refurbished rooms with a dryer, an adjoining balcony, and all essentials. - We were very impressed and would have extended the stay.

Convenient location and pleasant outlook over the pool area.
We did not find the instructions to guests inside the room very welcoming - too many threats of what you will be charged for if you leave a dirty dish or don't clear the rubbish bin.

Lovely view of trees and lakeside
Parking on stones would have been better if paved as quite noisy when other guests departing.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
